Snow
January 2011
It started snowing at my folks' place the day after New Year's. It hasn't snowed in Newhall since 1990, a year before we moved there from Los Angeles.
It may not have been much, but to us it was magic.
Our neighbor Margaret, in what will surely be known as "The Terrible Blizzard of 2011" during which Southern California tragically froze under a half inch of snow.
